Domain Migration Process

Transferring a domain to Hosteza is a straightforward process, but if you get stuck or need help, just let us know. The method for transferring a domain is slightly different for each domain extension, like .com,.net, and.co.uk, because they are all managed by various registry organizations.

To transfer the domain, please order the transfer from here:

Domain Transfer

After you order the domain, you must ask your current provider to change the IPS tag to Hosteza.

.uk transfers are generally very fast (usually less than an hour). Once the transfer is done, the domain will appear as "active" in your Client Area area under "Domains." You can then point the nameservers to Hosteza from here. Our nameservers are:-

If you have any plan of our DirectAdmin Hosting service, then use the Nameservers:

ns13.my-control-panel.com (107.189.1.208)
ns14.my-control-panel.com (198.251.89.164)

And If you have any plans of our Web Hosting or Cloud Hosting service, then use the Nameservers:

ns1.hosteza.net (13.248.158.180)
ns2.hosteza.net (75.2.118.134)
ns3.hosteza.net (76.223.26.245)
ns4.hosteza.net (99.83.147.209)

gTLD (.com,.net,.org, and most others): Most other domains are "gTLDs," which stands for "Global Top Level Domains," and means that they are not tied to a particular country. Transferring these domains is slightly different and uses an authorization code or EPP key. When you order a gTLD transfer, you pay the same as when you register or renew a domain for one year. This is because the domain's expiration date is extended by one year as part of the transfer process.

To move a gTLD domain, you must do the following:

Step 1 - Unlock the domain with your current provider.

Step 2 - Obtain the EPP key (sometimes called an authorization code) from your current provider.

Step 3 - Order the domain transfer from Hosteza - Domain Transfer.

Step 4 - Once the order is paid for, you'll receive an email to the admin contact on the domain you're transferring. There will be a link to click; this is where you need to click to give Hosteza permission to take over the domain.

Step 5: Once you approve the transfer, it can take a few days (depending on the registry it's coming from) for the transfer to go through. Hosteza will send you an email when the transfer is done.

Once the transfer is done, you can manage the domain from the Client Area by going to the "Domains" section.
